Welcome to Sort A Brick. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services. By accessing our website and using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Us

Sort A Brick is operated by Br1ck, UAB, a company registered in Lithuania, with a business address at Terminalo str. 3, Kaunas County, Lithuania, European Union, 54469.

Sort A Brick specializes in sorting and organizing used LEGO® bricks sent by customers. We do not sell new LEGO® sets.

2. Definitions

Customer – Any individual or entity using Sort A Brick services.

Services – The used LEGO® brick cleaning, sorting, and set restoration services provided by Sort A Brick.

Website – Sortabrick.com platform for orders placement.

3. Scope of Services

Sort A Brick provides the following services:

  • Brick Analysis and Grouping – Cleaning and analyzing LEGO® bricks sent by customers, identifying restorable sets and missing pieces, and grouping bricks by size and color for easier use.
  • Brick Sorting to Sets (Optional) – Sorting customer’s used LEGO® bricks into complete or near-complete sets, packaging each separately.
  • Sourcing Missing Bricks (Optional) – If requested, missing bricks are sourced from online marketplaces and integrated into restored sets.

4. Ordering Process

4.1 Submission and Payment

Customers submit their orders online and make a payment to initiate the service.

A pre-order fee may apply as a spot reservation.

4.2 Shipping LEGO® Bricks

Customers send their LEGO® collection using DHL shipping labels provided by Sort A Brick.

Packaging instructions are provided to ensure safe shipment.

4.3 Brick Assessment and Analysis

Upon receipt, Sort A Brick cleans and analyzes the bricks.

Customers receive a list of identified restorable sets and missing bricks.

A quote for set restoration, including sorting and sourcing missing bricks, is provided.

4.4 Customer Approval and Payment

Customers approve the quote and make payment to proceed with set restoration.

Brick Sorting to Sets and Sourcing Missing Bricks (if selected) begin after payment confirmation.

If a customer does not approve the quote, their bricks will be sorted by size and color (up to 20 groups) and returned along with the set identification report.

4.5 Return Shipment

Cleaned and sorted LEGO® bricks are shipped back to the customer with a DHL tracking number.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices include VAT.

Payments are processed via Stripe using accepted payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfers

6. Shipping and Turnaround Time

Customers are responsible for two-way shipping costs.

Sort A Brick provides a DHL shipping label for customers to send their LEGO® collections to our facility.

Sort A Brick provides DHL tracking numbers for returned shipments.

Estimated processing times:

  • Brick Analysis & Grouping: 1–2 weeks
  • Sourcing Missing Bricks: Up to 3 weeks
  • Brick Sorting to Sets: 1–2 weeks

Any deviations from these processing times will be communicated to the customer via email.

7. Order Tracking

Customers receive updates at key service stages, including:

  • Receipt of LEGO® bricks
  • Identified sets report
  • Readiness for shipment back

8. Requirements for LEGO® Bricks Sent for Sorting

To ensure a smooth process, the following requirements apply:

Accepted Items:

  • Regular LEGO® and LEGO® Technic bricks and elements

Items to Remove Before Shipping:

  • Broken or heavily polluted LEGO® bricks
  • Non-LEGO® bricks, elements, or toys
  • Batteries and other electronic parts

Handling of Unsupported Items:

  • Non-supported items found in the shipment will be packed separately and returned.
  • A sorting fee based on weight will apply for handling these items.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Pre-orders can be canceled anytime and are fully refunded.

Orders can be canceled before sorting begins:

  • If bricks have been shipped to Sort A Brick, the brick analysis fee is refunded, but shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If bricks have not been shipped, all fees, including shipping, will be refunded.

10. Limitation of Liability

Sort A Brick strives to provide high-quality services but cannot guarantee the identification or restoration of all LEGO® sets within a collection.

Sort A Brick is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services
  • Missing pieces in identified sets (unless the sourcing service is selected)

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Sort A Brick website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Sort A Brick and protected by intellectual property laws.

Customers may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the website without prior written permission.

12. Privacy Policy

Sort A Brick is committed to protecting customer privacy. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on data collection, usage, and protection.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the European Union and Lithuania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Sort A Brick reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or through a notice on our website.
